1. Packing
You do it yourself:
● remember your goods will be handled 2 or 3 times: pack them carefully- we cannot accept them otherwise.
● write clearly on each carton or box a number and what is in it,
● keep the list and give us a copy,
● write also in which room you want it to go, at the other end.
When loading, your driver will stick on each carton/box our label providing necessary information on your removal.
You ask us to do it:
● we will come with all suitable materials and normally complete packing in a day;
● we will list the inventory for you to check and sign before removal, keeping your own copy;
● we will blanket wrap items which require crating and take them to our premises for crating [usually earlier than removal day].
Please note that insurers normally require professional packing
If you wish a comprehensive all risk cover for your goods [cf. insurance, option 2].
2. Unpacking
You do it yourself:
● We will deliver your goods as you will have instructed us
[see Delivery].
You ask us to do it:
On delivery, we will:
● place the items where specified on the cartons
● unpack boxes and cartons, and store everything in available cupboards,
● re-assemble any furniture,
● connect appliances [although we cannot be responsible for their compliance]
● and remove any rubbish [leaving you the boxes if you so wish].
